Synergy Transitional Housing Inc. is a mission-driven nonprofit organization that helps justice-involved individuals and other eligible adults stabilize after crisis, reentry, or treatment by connecting them to transitional housing, case management, employment pathways, and community-based support. Our goal is to help people move beyond survival and toward long-term stability, accountability, and independence through structured support and trusted partnerships

Our Mission

We believe that safe housing is the foundation for successful reentry and personal recovery. Synergy states that people leaving incarceration often face homelessness, unemployment, relapse risk, and major barriers to reintegration without coordinated support, and the organization is designed to respond to those barriers through housing assistance, employment support, behavioral health referrals, and case management. Our approach is centered on dignity, responsibility, and practical next steps so participants can rebuild their lives with structure and hope.

Who we support

Homelessness includes individuals or families who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence. This can include people living in places not meant for human habitation, staying in emergency shelter, or exiting an institution such as a jail, hospital, or inpatient treatment center after a stay of 90 days or less when they were homeless immediately before entering that institution.

Synergy Transitional Housing Inc. serves adults who are working to overcome housing instability and rebuild their lives after incarceration, treatment, or other major life disruptions. Synergy’s public-facing mission specifically identifies individuals returning from state or federal prison and people completing inpatient substance use treatment as key populations it is designed to support

Supportive Counseling Services

We provide individual and group counseling addressing mental health, substance recovery, and essential skills for effective life and job readiness.

Job Readiness and Placement

We offer workshops, resume assistance, and direct partnerships with local employers to ensure our residents achieve successful employment transitions.
